Al Brown a native of the District of Columbia has always had a desire to become an artist. The dream began to turn to reality after correspondence courses and art courses in college, he soon began to realize being an artist was the life for him. He has had numerous shows and exhibitions in the Washington metroplitan area. His work has been on consignment in several area galleries. His paintings have been excepted into juried exhibits at the Washington Projects for the arts, Strathmore Hall Foundation, the Capitol Hill Art League and the Oxon Hill Manor Foundation.. Al, these swallows are STUNNING! Our taupe gray brick home is apparently very attractive to these beauties as we have tree swallows nesting in our bluebird houses and this year was the second return for a cliff swallow family. We’ve had quite an opportunity to view them and their babies in the sconce like nest made high in the corner of our front porch alcove! You have honored their personalities! The male is quite the guardian and the female is quite the demanding and inquisitive mate!
