An inspired painting, Al. I love the feeling of a forceful power moving the shaman forward, the eagle accompanying him on his quest.. beautiful composition and color palette. Spiritually moving, Al. A winner! : ) FL& V

A magnificent piece of art, it takes you back in time when the native Americans used to live in and from the nature, the eagle flying free brings to the mind that sense of bravery and greatness, makes feel like I am next to him watching the vast extensions of land, getting ready to hunt.
Al Brown replied:
Thanks for the critique and comment Martin!!

I like the way everything blends overall. The color shades adds a type of mystique to the painting that is fits the overall theme imo.

It is quite beautiful, although I'm not really sure about all the different shades of brown, the sky, mountain and man are one, but then there's the forest and all that green....I don't believe it suits it very well.

The artwork is wonderful, no doubt. The eagle, or kite, that is flying behind, is most interesting. I guess it's a mixed medium painting. Interested to know if I am correct!

The quest and calmness in the man is very clear from his eyes. His step forward depicts his search. The yellowish background of the nature gives a mystic look.

A picture that invites to relax and challenges to think where the chaman is going. The expression of the face is intriguing, makes you wonder what is he going to do. The eagle makes a great inpression too, makes you wamt to soar in the air.
