Al Brown a native of the District of Columbia has always had a desire to become an artist. The dream began to turn to reality after correspondence courses and art courses in college, he soon began to realize being an artist was the life for him. He has had numerous shows and exhibitions in the Washington metroplitan area. His work has been on consignment in several area galleries. His paintings have been excepted into juried exhibits at the Washington Projects for the arts, Strathmore Hall Foundation, the Capitol Hill Art League and the Oxon Hill Manor Foundation.. This is beautiful. I'm not a visual artist, so I'm not saying I know anything more than you, but for some reason the sun doesn't look right to me. It looks too perfectly round, like a white circle with yellow covering up half of it. I do like the painting, though. Just some constructive criticism :)
